As Marketing Manager for Ark7, I built and launched advertising campaigns for Google Search Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Blind Ads. I managed email marketing, weekly email newsletters and layouts using SendGrid. I also created and edited web page copy, poster copy, and marketing materials.
Content Writer Intern
February 2021 - March 2021
As a Content Writer for Ark7, I launched marketing campaigns on startup communities like Product Hunt and tripled the company's revenue and user numbers. In addition to developing effective strategies with the marketing team, I wrote content for the Ark7 WordPress blog and improved the website's traffic.
Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant
August 2018 - May 2020
As a teaching assistant for the Ad Account Planning course for the University of North Texas, I gave feedback on a variety of student projects on advertising, such as creative briefs, taglines, and observation write-ups. I worked with three UNT professors throughout two semesters on their classes, grading papers, administrating tests, and thoroughly editing student assignments. As a research assistant, I aided in a project on how the democratic primary candidates used their Instagram platforms. Additionally, I transcribed focus group conversations about how students use social media.
Staff Writer - Esports
September - December 2018
As a Staff Writer for the North Texas Daily, I pursued the esports beat by seeking out esports stories around campus and corresponding with the esports teams. I also met with editors frequently to get feedback and pitch stories. Additionally, I helped cover and live tweet the local 2018 midterm elections.

My two academic research papers are aimed at the creation of narratives and the gendered problems esports faces as a growing field.
