About Me

My name is Sarah Matthew. I am a graduate of the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. I have a background in English as well as concentrations in Creative Writing and History. At UNT, I was a teaching assistant for Ad Account Planning who edited and gave feedback to students to help them consider both the best approaches to ads and creative briefs and develop their critical thinking skills.
As an avid reader and writer, I am always on the lookout for stories to tell, whether they are from familiar or unheard voices. I am most passionate about long-form nonfiction, as I feel it can tell the most compelling story about a subject. As an editor, I aim to mold each piece to tell a vivid narrative.

Testimonials
"In the year I’ve known Sarah, I have found her to be organized, tenacious and extraordinarily hardworking. Additionally, I simply enjoy my conversations with her. Sarah’s mind is steady and sharp and always exploring original perceptions, while managing to deliver all of the information in the most humble and polite approach. I invariably learn something fresh and insightful after a simple five minute exchange with her. Sarah has consistently maintained an impressively high grade point average, in undergraduate and graduate school, and clearly imposes high expectations on herself to work to her very best ability."
